When the lights go on....

When the lights go on...., originally uploaded by S3er.

This picture was taken from the top of the Tokyo Government. It's really amazing to see all the lights go on in the evening. And the best is their is no fee for entering the platform :D

Ps: I ordered a 70x50mm print of this picture. Looks really nice on the wall :)

Gundam in Odaiba

Gundam in Odaiba, originally uploaded by S3er.

Typical Japanese!

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the anime series "Gundam" they build a full-scale reproduction of one of this robot and placed it on Odaiba, an island in the bay of Tokyo.

But a simple reproduction wasn't enough: The head moves, emits light from 50 different places and jets of mist from 14 spots! Totally crazy!

Also from the top of the Landmark Tower with focus on the small amusement park...

Yokohama Harbor

Yokohama Harbor, originally uploaded by S3er.

Shot taken from the top of the Landmark Tower which is the tallest building in Japan.
Watching the sun go down over Yokohama is really stunning.

In the center is the Yokohama World Porters, a large mall.

Yokohama Bay

Mal copy-past vom Flickr Text.... :)

Sunset at Yokohama Bay. The sun is right behind the Landmark Tower.
Shot from the Osanbashi Pier with a very small tripod an no knowledge what I was doing *g*

This was one of my very first HDR's and I still like it! Actually it was my desktop background for month.
I used only Photomatix and played a bit until it was looking nice.
